A 110 m² house in Poznań in dark wood and rough cream stone, with lofted children's rooms
Concept
The hall leads past a rough stone column to a dark wood staircase lit from below, then into one room for cooking, dining and living with glazed doors to the garden. The bedroom rises into the gable beside a glass-fronted dressing room. Both children's rooms use their height for a sleeping loft: one behind a rope net, the other on a glazed mezzanine.
Over dark wood panelling, taupe fronts and pale stone-look floors, rough cream stone recurs in the hall, by the stair, beside the television and along the bedroom slopes. The kitchen island is clad in dark green veined stone. The bathroom turns to honey-toned veined stone, the shower room to dark brown stone.

Result
The design keeps the whole house to one restrained palette of dark wood, rough stone and soft concealed light, and gives each room its own accent. The visualisations cover the hall and staircase, the open kitchen, dining and living room, the bedroom with its dressing room, two children's rooms and two bathrooms.
