Private House 240 m²
A 240 m² house in Europe, built around a floating stair of oak and smoked glass
Concept
The entrance passes between walnut-clad volumes and grey stone into an open kitchen, dining and living space. Beside the media wall a cantilevered stair rises over a planted bed, and a landing behind a glass balustrade looks down into the double-height room. The main bedroom, two children's rooms, a study and a walk-in wardrobe are calmer and lighter.
Walnut panelling, grey veined stone and smoked glass in thin bronze frames dress the shared rooms, with a strip of red-veined stone by the stair. Light comes from black track lines, LED coves and lit steps. The bedrooms turn paler: backlit stone behind the main bed, a white sculpted wave wall in one children's room, fluted oak in the other.

The design gives the shared rooms one dark, warm set of materials and makes the stair their centrepiece, while the bedrooms work in lighter tones of the same palette. The visualisations cover the entrance, the stair and corridors, the kitchen, dining and living room, the main bedroom, two children's rooms, the study and the wardrobe.
